AN UPDATE FROM YOUR LOCAL THEATRE

New Theatre is pleased to confirm we will reopen from 17th August 2021 following over a year of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We welcome the news that we have been successful in a new project grant bid from the Arts Council. The grant bid was supported by Peterborough MP Paul Bristow, who was instrumental in getting the funding application to the Arts Council.

We’re working hard to reschedule a handful of performances from 2021 to alternative dates, however, the majority of shows are now settled into new performance dates.  As we continue to work with limited staffing and resources please bear with us as we continue to make arrnagements.

If your show is listed below as “we’re working on this…” we’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible by email with further information. If your performance is rescheduled and appears below with a new date and you’ve not yet received your tickets you can log in to ‘My Account’ to review your orders and download new tickets. If you purchased hospitality vouchers these will be available to collect from the Box Office, along with your tickets, before the show.

We send a heartfelt thank you to all our customers who have been incredibly patient and supportive during this challenging time. We need our audiences now more than ever. We can’t wait to lift the curtain on 17th August and bring exciting theatre productions back to Peterborough.

Where is my refund?

You will have received a reschedule notice for your performance with the option to request a refund by email for our team to process. You will need to have directly requested a refund from us for this to be processed.

Refunds should reappear in your account almost instantly in most cases and will appear under the name ‘Selladoor’. In some cases where a card has expired or an account has closed we may request details to transfer your refund manually.

Has my show been rescheduled?

All shows that are listed above have been rescheduled, except for the ones that state “we’re working on this”. We’ll be in touch with the remaining customers as quickly as possible.

Some shows will not be possible to reschedule and you will then be notified of the cancellation. These are also listed above.

Can I swap seats? Can I upgrade my seats?

Yes, we will be able to upgrade your seats as soon as all transfers have been completed, where there is availability. To upgrade your tickets please call the Box Office 01733 852992

Why haven’t I heard from you?

We’ve initially been contacting customers via email for all shows that have been affected. We know that some people won’t have received our emails for a number of reasons including high security settings on your account, emails being delivered to junk, filtered folders etc. Please bear with us as we work through all shows and make every possible effort to reach you.

Why haven’t I received a phone call or letter?

While the Box Office and Theatre is closed the team are working diligently to reach all customers. Please ensure that your contact details are up to date by reviewing these in ‘My Account’

We’re able to identify customers that do not have an email address and as soon as we’re able to we will be in touch by phone where a number is listed.

How can I book accessible seating?

We’re happy to assist in booking accessible seating that is best for your access needs. Just drop us an email with your requirements and we can advise best seating for you or reserve your tickets and someone will call you back to arrange payment at a later date.

How much credit do I have?

You are able to check how much credit you have by logging in to ‘My Account’ on our website. Click on the Credit Tab to view a summary of your available credit.

Do I need to keep my original tickets?

If your show has been rescheduled we will be issuing you tickets either by email or for collection from the Box Office once the theatre has re-opened. Tickets with incorrect dates will not be accepted.

How can I check which tickets I have booked?

Your tickets can be reviewed by logging in to ‘My Account’ and clicking on the Orders Tab. Here you will find a list of orders relating to performances you have booked with us and if you choose to have these delivered by eticket you can re-download these.

If I purchase tickets for a show in the future that is cancelled or rescheduled will I be able to get a refund?

Our standard terms and conditions apply to all new purchases and rescheduled performances. In the case that a performance is cancelled or postponed by us you will be able to receive either an exchange, credit or refund. You may also wish to consider donating your tickets back to the theatre.
